About Beerdome

Beerdome is a webshop that specializes in really good craft beers. At Beerdome you will not find many beers that you can also buy in your local supermarket. The desire to start with Beerdome derives from our passion for craft beer. We want to introduce as many people as possible to really good craft beers!

How high are the shipping costs?
Your package will be shipped using PostNL. There's a fixed rate for the Netherlands and Belgium. Shipping costs to other countries will be calculated based on the weight of your package. You'll see the final shipping costs at checkout. If your order doesn't fit in one shipping box, we'll cover the shipping for the additional boxes. If you live in Finland, you need to arrange the shipment for yourself.

Are the items in my shopping cart reserved for me?
No, the beers in your shopping cart are not reserved. Only when you have clicked Buy after entering your details, the beers are reserved for you. It is therefore possible that an item disappears from your shopping cart, because someone else bought and paid for the same beer at that time.

Can I make adjustments to my order?
After placing an order it is no longer possible to make adjustments.

What can I do if I entered a wrong shipping address?
Please contact us as soon as possible via [email protected]. Unfortunately, if your order has already been shipped, we can no longer change your address. PostNL will eventually return your package to us. After we have received your package back, we can resend it. You will then pay (again) the standard shipping costs per country, even if you have placed an order of more than €75,00 in the Netherlands or more than €100,00 in Germany or Belgium.

How can I pay for my order?
You can easily pay for your order via iDEAL, Klarna, SOFORT, PayPalBancontactVISAMastercardGiropay, KBC, Belfius, Maestro & Cartes Bancaires. If for some reason your payment fails, or if you wish to pay using another method, then follow these steps to complete the payment:
Log into your account My Orders -> Pay now; on the outstanding invoice and follow the steps to complete payment.

Who will deliver my order?
Our packages are handled by PostNL or DHL in a number of countries. PostNL works with various partners outside the Netherlands and Belgium.

Disclaimer:

Remember that local customs (can) charge additional tax fees. Check your local authority which charges can be applied. We cannot give you any information on this because this can change day by day. We are not responsible for any additional charges made. If you order alcoholic products as a private individual from another EU country, you arrange the transport yourself by using and consent of the shipping option(s) at checkout, you may also be liable to pay excise duties. As the distance buyer, you may be liable to pay excise duties on alcohol products and beverage containers.

Can I pick-up my order?
Would you prefer to collect your beers in Grootegast? This is possible! At checkout you can opt for pick up from Grootegast, Netherlands. Once you have placed the order, you can send us an e-mail at [email protected] to make an appointment. This is often possible the same day. If you arrange the shipment for yourself and let a carrier pick it up for you, you should also use this option.

When can I expect my package?
If you place an order and pay before 4 pm on working days, your package will be shipped the same day. You will receive a Track & Trace as soon as your package has been shipped.

We do not ship orders on the following Dutch holidays:
Easter --- April 1, 2024
Ascension Day --- May 9, 2024
Pentecost --- May 20, 2024
Christmas --- December 25 and 26, 2024

PostNL does not deliver parcels on those days. If there is a national holiday in the country of delivery, the delivery of your package may
take a little longer.

How are my beers packaged?
All beers are carefully packed and shipped in reinforced boxes with dividers. Because of this you can assume that you will receive the beers undamaged. We use different sizes of boxes, so that there is always a suitable box for your order. In the unlikely event that something is wrong with your order, we would of course like to solve it with you. You can contact us via [email protected] if you are dealing with an incomplete delivery, an incorrectly delivered beer or a damaged product. If you have received a damaged beer, please make sure to send us photos of both the beer and the shipping packaging. Note: please contact us within one week of receiving your package.

Can I drink the beers immediately after receiving them?
It is wise to let your beers rest for at least two hours after receiving them, before opening them. This allows the yeast to sink to the bottom of your bottle or can and besides that, your beer can reach the right temperature during that time.

How should I store my beers? 
We recommend keeping all IPAs, Pale Ales and Sour ales in a refrigerator. Some beers are so packed with hops or fruit that they sometimes want to ferment further in the can if it is stored too warm. In any case, it benefits the taste a lot if you keep them cold and drink them as fresh as possible! Dark beers are best kept at cellar temperature.

How long does it take on average to receive my order?
Do you want to receive the package in the Netherlands or Belgium and did you order before 4 pm? Then you will receive the order the
next day (with the exception of public holidays).

We do not ship orders on Saturdays and Sundays. We ship these orders on Monday. The next delivery day is Tuesday.

Please note: due to unforeseen circumstances, the delivery of your package may be delayed.

My package has not been delivered yet, what should I do?
View your Track & Trace, which you have received from us by e-mail. When you want to receive your package in the Netherlands or Belgium and the status of the Track & Trace has not changed for four working days, please contact us at [email protected]. We will then contact PostNL.
If you want to have the package delivered outside the Netherlands and the status of your Track & Trace has not changed for 14 days, please contact us via [email protected]. We will then contact PostNL. An investigation will then be started by PostNL and / or the local carrier. An investigation takes an average of two weeks.

If your tracking hasn't been updated for more than 30 days we can't start an investigation with PostNL anymore, so please contact us before that! If you contact us about a missing order after 30 days, we can't give you a refund, because PostNL can't investigate and therefore won't compensate us.

When will I receive the invoice for my order?
You will receive an email from us immediately after your order, containing a confirmation and an invoice

Can I return my order?
You have the right to return your package and terminate the contract for a period of 14 days after the purchase. It is not necessary to give a reason for this. The costs for returning the package are yours. If you aren't satisfied and do want to return your beers, please send an e-mail to [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation email with instructions for returning. If the return shipment has been checked by us and is found to be in good condition, you will be refunded the purchase price.

Does Beerdome have a minimum order value?
Yes, the minimum order value is €15 (before applying any discount code, loyalty points or vouchers).

What is the additional deposit charge?
Our head office is in the Netherlands. According to local regulations, we are obligated to collect deposit on cans delivered to us after the 1st of April 2023, even if they are shipped abroad. You can recognize them on the invoice as additional costs and on the 'statiegeld' logo on the can. You can only hand them in into supermarkets ect. in the Netherlands. 

Does Beerdome mention allergies with the products offered?
Yes, we do our best to state ingredients to which you may be allergic, such as lactose or nuts, as much as possible on the website when describing a beer, cider or mead. Are you in doubt? Please feel free to contact us at [email protected]. Do you have an allergy? Look carefully at the label of your product before you drink it.
